The Association Day of the Department of English was inaugurated on 24th February, marking a significant milestone for both students and faculty. The event began with a formal inauguration by the Principal, Dr. Pramod K M, who welcomed all attendees and highlighted the importance of such events in fostering academic growth and cultural exchange.

The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Jahfar Sadique on the topic “New Frontiers in English Literature: Exploring Emerging Genres and Trends.” His insightful and thought-provoking speech shed light on the evolving landscape of English literature, emphasizing the significance of emerging genres and trends in shaping contemporary literary studies.

The event was presided over by the Head of the Department, Naseera M K, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards both the students and faculty for their unwavering support, which has played a key role in the department’s continued success.The function also saw felicitations from Dr. Sanil AS and Bhavya Padmanabhan, who congratulated the department for organizing such a successful event and encouraged students to actively engage in future departmental activities.
