The Department of English, Ambedkar College of Arts & Science, Wandoor, organized a CUET Orientation and Alumni Talk on 14 October 2026 at 1.00 PM in the Seminar Hall. The programme featured Lasna Sherin P, an alumna of the college who completed her B.A. English degree during the 2023–2026 batch and is currently pursuing her first semester of M.A. English at the English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU), Hyderabad. The session aimed to provide students with guidance on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) and offer insights into higher education opportunities.

During the session, Lasna Sherin shared her academic experiences and insights into pursuing postgraduate studies after graduation. Her interaction helped students gain a better understanding of higher education pathways and the importance of preparing for entrance examinations. The programme also provided an opportunity for students to learn from the experiences of a former student and seek guidance for their future academic goals. The initiative reflected the Department of English’s commitment to supporting students in their academic progression and career development.
