The Social Science Club of the PG Department of Economics, Ambedkar College of Arts and Science, Wandoor, organised a Life Skill Workshop titled “Hand in Hand – One Day with BUDS Rehabilitation Centre, Thiruvali Grama Panchayath” on Thursday, September 10, 2026. The programme was held at the Ayyankali Seminar Hall, ACAS Campus, with the objective of promoting social awareness, empathy, inclusion and life skills among students.

The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Shamsudeen E, Principal, ACAS. Sri. P. Bhaskaran, Manager, ACAS, attended the programme as the Chief Guest, while George P Varghese, Motivational Speaker and Member, Moothedam Grama Panchayath, served as the motivational speaker. Faina K, 3rd Semester BA English student, ACAS, also contributed to the Life Skill Workshop. The programme provided students with an opportunity to interact, share experiences and develop a greater sense of social responsibility and compassion towards differently abled members of society.
