Three Training Programmes Launched at Ambedkar College

Ambedkar College of Arts and Science, Wandoor, in association with ASAP Kerala under the PM-USHA Scheme, officially launched three certificate training programmes on 24 February 2026 at 10.30 AM in Ayyankali Seminar Hall.

The newly introduced programmes include English Communication and Employability Skills (15 hours), Self Defence Workshop for Women (10 hours), and GST Using Tally (45 hours). The initiative aims to enhance students’ practical knowledge, communication ability, employability, and self-confidence.

The programme began with a welcome address by Ms. Naseera M.K., Nodal Officer, RUSA, ACAS. The function was presided over by Prof. Dr. Shamsudeen E., Principal, ACAS, and was formally inaugurated by Ms. Alipatta Jameela, Chairperson, Welfare Standing Committee, Malappuram District Panchayath. Felicitations were delivered by Mr. P. Bhaskaran, Manager, ACAS, Dr. Sanil A.S., IQAC Coordinator, Ms. Dhanya M., Co-ordinator, Alumni, and Mr. Abdul Nasir Vellarappara, Secretary, Staff Club. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Midhulaj P., Assistant Coordinator, RUSA.

The event marked an important step in providing skill-oriented and career-focused training opportunities for students of the college.
