Internal Complaint Committee

About

The Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) is operating in accordance with the UGC (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal of Sexual Harassment of Women Employees and Students in Higher Educational Institutions) Regulations, 2015. The committee acts as a Special Cell in their respective institutions to address gender-based violence and organize gender sensitization programs. The committee’s primary responsibility is to investigate and resolve any complaints of sexual harassment from female employees and students, as well as provide them with support and guidance.

Activities

The Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) plays an important role in ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all, especially women. It addresses complaints related to sexual harassment and promotes awareness about gender equality and respectful behavior. The committee organizes workshops, awareness programs, and counselling sessions to educate students and staff about their rights and responsibilities. It also investigates complaints confidentially and takes necessary action according to institutional and legal guidelines.
